The Trendy KitKatClub in Berlin<\/h2>\n

The KitKatClub is not only one of Berlin’s trendiest clubs; it’s also one of the oldest of its kind. In 1994, Austrian Simon Thaur and his partner Kirsten Kr\u00fcger first hosted clubbing events at Club Turbine on Glogauer Stra\u00dfe. <\/p>\n

Success was not long in coming. It was so overwhelming that Simon Thaur and Kirsten Kr\u00fcger took over the club completely and renamed it KitKatClub. In 1999, the location became too small, and the club moved for the first time. After several more moves, it is now located at the corner of K\u00f6penicker Stra\u00dfe and Br\u00fcckenstra\u00dfe in the premises of the Sage Club. <\/p>\n

The KitKat is known and loved primarily for its open attitude towards sex and eroticism. Visitors move in tight outfits on the dance floor, getting closer and closer. An electrifying atmosphere inevitably arises. And if you feel like it, you can retreat to a darker corner of the club and get very close to each other. <\/p>\n

However, the KitKatClub is not a swingers’ club, even if sex between strangers sometimes occurs. First and foremost, the KitKat is a techno club where the aim is to dance, party, and enjoy exciting nights. <\/p>\n

If you don’t want to miss the KitKatClub during your visit to Berlin, the following tips will help you get in.<\/p>\n

1. No Everyday Clothes<\/h2>\n

Wearing normal everyday clothes when visiting the KitKatClub is an absolute no-go. If you show up at the club entrance in jeans, a T-shirt, and white sneakers, you can be sure that the bouncers won’t let you in. For the management, it’s part of the nightlife in their club that guests are creatively dressed. And that doesn’t fit if you go to KitKat in the same outfit you wore to the office a few hours earlier. <\/p>\n

2. Not Just Underwear<\/h2>\n

Entering a sex-positive club in nothing but underwear? For many potential visitors, that sounds like a very good idea. However, the KitKatClub management is anything but thrilled about that either. Their door policy has no problem with openness \u2013 quite the opposite. But a little more creativity should go into the outfit than just standing at the entrance in briefs and a bra, trying to impress the bouncers. <\/p>\n

3. No Black Clothing<\/h2>\n

If you think of typical fetish wear, one color immediately comes to mind: black. Whether patent leather or regular leather: the scene’s outfits are distinctly dark. But the KitKatClub management doesn’t like that. In an Instagram post in early 2024, they wrote that they were tired of guests in black clothes. Instead, they encourage more creativity when visiting \u2013 including with colors. <\/p>\n

4. Unconventional Materials<\/h2>\n

People who wear rather unusual clothes have the best chance of getting into the KitKatClub. The more striking they are, the more likely they are to be admitted to the club. Besides patent leather, latex, and leather, lace, fishnet stockings, corsets, feathers, and masks are also welcome. <\/p>\n

Did you fail at KitKat’s door policy and think the party is over for you before it even began? That doesn’t necessarily have to be the case. Most bouncers at the club have no problem giving guests a second chance. So, if you quickly get a different outfit and go back to the club entrance, the ladies and gentlemen at the door might still let you in. <\/p>\n
