What makes the EastSeven Youth Hostel so special?
At EastSeven, we don’t just want to offer you a place to sleep during your stay in Berlin. Our mission is to make our guests’ stay in Berlin as pleasant as possible. In addition to a cozy bed in one of our top-equipped rooms, we offer a free muesli breakfast in the morning so you can start a day full of new adventures feeling energized.
When you return from your city exploration trip, we want you to feel right at home. Besides winding down the day in our garden with its comfortable terrace, it’s the weekly community evenings where you can have lots of fun with other guests from all over the world. And even if you’ve turned night into day, you’ll always find a retreat in our youth hostel to gather new strength.
What is the location of EastSeven Berlin?
As beautiful as our youth hostel is, we know that our guests are here for the city, not just for us. That’s exactly why we chose a central location in the trendy Prenzlauer Berg district. Here you’ll find the vibrant and exciting side of Berlin with a wide range of different restaurants, small cafes, bars, and numerous cultural offerings.
In addition to the exciting surroundings of EastSeven, you also have perfect connections to other Berlin districts with their numerous sights and exciting places. You can reach the nearest subway station in less than 100 meters. Thanks to Berlin’s well-developed public transport network, you can easily reach almost every corner of the city.
For example, it’s only two stops to the famous Alexanderplatz with the TV Tower in the city center. Other sights like Checkpoint Charlie, the Brandenburg Gate, or the East Side Gallery are also easily accessible by U-Bahn and S-Bahn.
Do you still have rooms available in the youth hostel?

Feel free to check back every now and then; thanks to our free cancellation, rooms can always become available at short notice.
Do you also offer accommodation for school classes?
Due to the limited number of rooms and numerous other guests, EastSeven is unfortunately not the ideal place for school classes. We also see ourselves more as a cozy and chilled retreat for our guests. Therefore, from 10:00 PM onwards, everything must be kept at a pleasant room volume.
Can I stay with you if I’m under 18?
We can only offer accommodation to minors under 18 if they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, or an adult companion with the appropriate permission from the legal guardians. Staying in a shared dormitory is generally not possible for minors.
What rooms are available?
We offer the right rooms at EastSeven for solo travelers, backpackers, groups, and families alike. From classic single rooms for privacy to conventional dorms like you know from other hostels and youth hostels, to cozy double rooms for a family vacation, everyone will find the perfect room for their stay in Berlin at EastSeven.
How can I pay at EastSeven?
For security reasons, we can only accept credit and debit cards for your room booking payment. A reservation without prior payment is unfortunately not possible. If you choose the non-refundable booking, your card will be charged the total amount immediately. For our flexible rate with free cancellation, we only charge your card one to three days before your arrival.
When can I check in?
With our 24-hour self-check-in, you can check in at any time. If your room isn’t ready when you arrive, you can make yourself comfortable in our common room, kitchen, or garden. Of course, you can also explore the area and get to know the exciting Prenzlauer Berg district. We can store your luggage safely for you in the meantime.
Can I still change my booking?
If you booked directly through our website, you’ll definitely get the best price on the internet for your room with us. If you’d like to change your reservation, just send us an email with your change request to: reservation@eastseven.de.

Can I cancel my booking?
Even with long-planned trips, unpredictable events can happen. For maximum flexibility for our guests, we offer our flexible rate during booking. This allows you to cancel free of charge up to 3 days before your arrival.
Do you also offer meals at the youth hostel?
At EastSeven, you’ll find more than just a bed for the night. Our prices include a free muesli breakfast to start the day healthy, fit, and full of energy. Additionally, our regular community evenings with the Supper Club or BBQ night always take care of your physical well-being.
Is EastSeven part of the German Youth Hostel Association (DJH)?
EastSeven does not belong to the association of German youth hostels organized under the DJH (Deutsches Jugendherbergswerk). This allows us to design our offerings in a much more open and flexible way. Furthermore, you don’t need to be a member of the German Youth Hostel Association to book accommodation with us.
