Berlin TV Tower at Alexanderplatz
The TV Tower is located at Alexanderplatz in Berlin and houses the city’s highest observation platform. It rises 203 meters above the cityscape. From the TV Tower, you have a great overview of Berlin and its surroundings. High up, there’s also a restaurant with a panoramic view. What’s special is the 360-degree rotation that the restaurant completes in about 20 minutes, expanding the view over the entire capital. From this viewpoint, you can see Prenzlauer Berg, Potsdamer Platz, Alexanderplatz, Teufelsberg, Drachenberg, Kreuzberg, and other Berlin attractions.
By the way: There’s a staircase in the Berlin TV Tower that’s 986 steps long and intended for emergencies. The Berlin TV Tower is a radio tower and home to several broadcasting stations. It’s therefore much more than just an observation platform. Adults pay €25.50 per person, children up to 14 years pay €14.50, and children up to 3 years enjoy the view from the top of the TV Tower for free.

Berlin Tiergarten with Victory Column
Berlin’s Tiergarten is legendary and one of the places at the top of the list of Berlin’s most popular attractions. The Großer Tiergarten at Ernst-Reuter-Platz covers an area of 210 hectares. In its center is the Großer Stern, which attracts visitors around the clock. The Victory Column sits on top of it and is a central part of any trip to the Tiergarten. Viewpoints like this are unique because they have historical significance. The Victory Column offers an exceptional panoramic view from 69 meters high. From below, you can admire the square and the column in all their glory.
The Victory Column was completed in 1873. It’s a monument from the time of the Wars of Unification. If you want to climb the Victory Column, you should have some change ready for admission. The Victory Column can be visited every day, though you’ll have to tackle the 285 steps to the observation platform. By the way: Straße des 17. Potsdamer Platz with Panoramic View from Above
At Potsdamer Platz 1 is the famous Kollhoff Tower, which looks like a tower. It has a total height of 103 meters. Its elevator takes you to the city’s popular viewpoint in 20 seconds. Enjoy the view over Potsdamer Platz and experience Berlin from a completely new perspective. Adults pay €9, the reduced price is €7, and children up to 6 years have free admission. But keep in mind that 103 meters is quite high. Visitors should therefore have a head for heights.
What shouldn’t be missed at Panoramapunkt are fine desserts, warming drinks, and a view into the park. The opening hours of the integrated café are adapted to peak times. Here you can enjoy coffee and cake daily from 11 AM to 6 PM and delight in the view through the floor-to-ceiling glass. The façade offers plenty of opportunities for great photos of the capital. Berlin Bell Tower at the Olympic Stadium
The Berlin Bell Tower is also a popular viewpoint over Berlin. It was built during the Nazi era before World War II and rises from the Olympic Stadium. The occasion for its construction was the 1936 Olympic Games. The tower was also completed that year.
The Bell Tower is still a Berlin landmark today. For a visit, you should arrive between April and October, as such viewpoints are closed in winter. If the sky is clear, you can see all the way to Potsdam from the Bell Tower at the Olympic Stadium. Tip: The French Cathedral can also be found in Mitte, and it also offers a 360-degree panorama.

Berlin Cathedral at 90 Meters High
The Berlin TV Tower is Berlin’s landmark. Similarly well-known is Berlin Cathedral. Thanks to its 360-degree view, it’s considered one of the most popular viewpoints in Berlin. If you want the best view over Berlin, head to the stairs of Berlin Cathedral in good weather. They’re 270 steps long and reward you with a gigantic view over Berlin. The observation platform high above offers a view of the TV Tower, the Humboldt Museum, and other Berlin viewpoints.

Grunewald Tower on Havelchaussee
Are you excited about Berlin viewpoints with a special kind of view? Then it’s worth visiting Grunewald Tower on Havelchaussee. Its observation platform offers you a comprehensive view over the city and Berlin’s surroundings. You reach the viewpoint via 204 steps. The tower provides a highlight for your entire Berlin city tour for less than €4 admission.
The view compensates for the effort of climbing to the viewpoint. At the top, you get a view over the Havel and Grunewald. Once back down, you should also check out the tower’s architecture, which was built as a monument to Emperor Wilhelm I and represents one of Berlin’s significant viewpoints.

It’s a structure from World War II that has been preserved as a Berlin observation platform to this day. From here, you have a view over Wedding, Mitte, Humboldthain, and other areas of Berlin.
