Flea market at Schöneberg Town Hall
The flea market at Rathaus Schöneberg is held at a historic location. In June 1963, John F. Kennedy gave his famous speech “Ich bin ein Berliner” (I am a Berliner) at the site where a flea market is now held every Saturday and Sunday. All kinds of junk can be found at the market – from clothes to art. Even if you are looking for antiques, you should pay a visit to the flea market. However, you shouldn’t arrive too late. The traders start dismantling their stalls at 4 pm on the dot.

Flea market in Mauerpark
Mauerpark is located in the Prenzlauer Berg district – where the Berlin Wall ran until 1989. It stretches for around two kilometers and is very popular with residents and tourists alike. A flea market has been held on Bernauer Strasse every Sunday since 2004, which has played a part in the park’s popularity. There are more than 400 stalls at the market. Unlike other flea markets, however, they are not occupied by too many professional traders. Instead, private traders present items that they no longer need. Nowkoelln Flowmarkt
The Nowkoelln Flowmarkt definitely has the most unusual name on our list of the best flea markets in Berlin. It is unmistakably located in the Neukölln district – more precisely, on the Maybachufer of the Landwehrkanal. The location by the water already has a certain appeal. What’s more, music can always be heard at the Flowmarkt. In addition, performance artists occasionally show what they can do and culinary specialties are on offer. The Flowmarkt is also a genuine art market in terms of what is on offer at the stalls. Many traders offer pieces that they have created themselves. The treasures include printed T-shirts, for example, as well as jewelry and porcelain. So if you like design, the Flowmarkt is right up your street. Just make sure you choose the right date for your visit to the flea market. The Nowkoelln Flowmarkt only takes place every second Sunday. RAW flea market
The abbreviation RAW stands for “Reichsbahnausbesserungswerk”. The site in Friedrichshain is now home to various clubs, bars and stores. Various exhibitions can also be seen in the buildings on the RAW site. Art is therefore not neglected at the flea market, which takes place every Sunday on the RAW site. The selection of junk is diverse: there are clothes, antiques, jewelry and much more. The flea market on Arkonaplatz in Mitte has been around since 1990. The square (which, incidentally, is not far from Mauerpark) has a certain historical significance anyway. The elementary school on Arkonaplatz is one of the oldest school buildings in Berlin. There is also a fountain on the square that was once operated by hand pump.
